Adventure, Volunteering & Gap Year<\/strong><\/h4>

Adventure and volunteering travel continues to grow \u2014\u00a0 and over 30% of ABTOT Members specialise in this area. Our flexible bonding options and regulatory expertise make compliance straightforward, even for complex itineraries.<\/p>

School Travel Operators<\/strong><\/h4>

ABTOT is recognised by the School Travel Forum (STF) and chosen by many school trip organisers for non-licensable insolvency protection. Members also benefit from our arbitration service and Code of Conduct.<\/p>

Societies, Charities & Clubs<\/strong><\/h4>

ABTOT Members subscriptions are calculated on the projected turnover that needs to be financially protected, which makes Membership attractive to large associations whose core business activities fall outside the Package Travel Regulations.<\/p>

Organisations that are not primarily travel organisers, but whose operations have fallen within the scope of the PTRs such as Clubs, Societies and Charities should speak to ABTOT regarding the required financial protection.<\/p>

Accommodation-Only<\/strong><\/h4>

Travel companies offering accommodation only such as Villas do not fall within the scope of the Package Travel Regulations but may still want financial protection in place to provide the peace of mind to their customers that their money is financially protected.<\/p>

Having financial protection in place with ABTOT and displaying the ABTOT logo adds value to their business and reassurance to their customers.<\/p>

Large ATOL Holders<\/strong><\/h4>

ABTOT is an attractive solution to large ATOL holders who need to protect a small percentage of non-ATOL holiday packages. As ABTOT calculates Membership fees on their projected non -ATOL holiday sales not their total projections and the financial protection is straight forward and cost effective.<\/p>

Non- UK Organisers<\/strong><\/h4>

ABTOT Membership is open to overseas based Travel Organisers who sell to UK consumers and need to comply with the UK Package Travel Regulations. ABTOT Membership enables them to promote their financial protection and credibility more effectively to their customers and partners.<\/p>

Retail Travel Agents<\/strong><\/h4>

Retail Travel Agents who dynamically package accommodation and flights can apply to ABTOT for their ATOL through the ABTOT ATOL Franchise. They also benefit from <\/span>\u00a0preferred commercial rates with leading travel providers, content distributors and Travel Tech from our Commercial Service Partners.<\/p>

Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT<\/strong>) Members<\/strong><\/h4>

Bonded Coach Holidays is a consumer protection scheme exclusive to the Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT) Members and it has been managed by ABTOT since 2021.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
